Am I required to provide storm water and erosion control at my building site, if it is less than one acre?
Yes. Even though you are not required to obtain a NPDES permit from the state, you are still required to prevent illicit discharges from your building site, in accordance with city code. All job sites are subject to inspection by the city storm water inspector. If you are unsure of what the requirements are, please call the Engineering office (402) 562-4237, and we will guide you through the requirements. It is our goal to ensure that your construction site meets the requirements of the illicit discharge ordinance.
