The Columbus Municipal Airport supports several aviation-related businesses. The primary business at the airport is Avcraft, which is contracted by the City of Columbus as the Fixed Base Operator (FBO).
Avcraft provides fuel sales via truck delivery of both Avgas and Jet A fuels. Avcraft provides most FBO services, including flight planning and aircraft maintenance, while also offering flight instruction. Aircraft restoration, aircraft hangers, brokering aircraft, and managing aircraft are also offered by Avcraft.
Other businesses include Har-Mor Ag Air Inc., which provides aerial spraying, and Muhle Aviation Works and Best Air provide aircraft restoration.
The airport also provides a conference room from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm. Contact the manager's office to make an after-hours appointment. There is also an after-hour's Pilot Lounge for transient pilots that need to get out of the weather. Our Pilot Lounge includes local weather information, coffee, refrigerator and stove, and restrooms, and is located in the Administration Building.
