On Monday, March 17, 2014, street rehabilitation will begin from 7th Street to 9th Street on 26th Avenue and from 26th Avenue to 27th Avenue on 8th Street.
During this construction work, traffic will be delayed or detoured around the ongoing repairs. The contractor will begin the repairs along 26th Ave. and maintain traffic on one side of the street. When the 8th Street repairs are proceeding, traffic will be detoured by 7th and 9th Streets and will be closing off the entire length of the 8th Street rehab. The repairs are expected to take approximately two to three weeks.
All questions and concerns about this project may be directed to the Assistant City Engineer, Michael Middendorf at 402-562-4237.
