Construction work is scheduled to resume on 33rd Avenue and 23rd Street on July 16th.

The 33rd Avenue segment between the Platte River bridge to near 5th Street will be daytime hours with milling operations to end July 18th. Milled roadways will be rough through the weekend. Asphalt overlay construction is scheduled to begin Monday, July 21st and last for 1 to 2 weeks.

Construction on 33rd Avenue between 15th Street and 23rd Street and on 23rd Street between 1st Avenue and 33rd Avenue will be evening and night time hours during weekdays. Work includes milling and construction of an asphalt overlay. The construction in these segments will be an additional 2 to 4 weeks.

Construction of concrete median and sidewalk ramps on 33rd Avenue will occur after asphalt placement on 33rd Avenue and may be done concurrent with night time work on 23rd Street or after its completion.
The public is encouraged to use extreme caution in and around the work zone and to anticipate traffic control flaggers and features, slow speeds, and construction workers and equipment.
