[ARCHIVED] Crochet Classes

Columbus Library is offering 2 crochet classes this summer. Novice and Beginner.

Come join us for two crochet classes this summer. The first is June 13th, this Saturday, at 2:00 PM in the library auditorium. The first class is for novice crochet students. This class is for those completely new to crochet who want to learn how to begin. Joanne will help you learn how to read a pattern, how to hold a crochet hook, and how to do a chain stitch.
On June 20th, the next Saturday, at 2:00 PM in the library auditorium, is the date of the second crochet class. This class is for those that already know how to crochet but what to learn more. Joanne will review reading crochet patterns and teach us how to do decorative stitches. Both classes are free and do not require you to be registered. Yarn and crochet hooks will be provided, but if you have your own please bring them. After classes we will be treated to homemade refreshments! At each class there will also be a drawing for a new crochet book. Make plans to attend these fun classes! All ages are welcome.
