Some City of Columbus departments will be closed Monday, February 15, 2016, in observance of President’s Day. Those closed include the Animal Control, Columbus Area Transit (CAT), Columbus Public Library, and all departments located in City Hall.
The Columbus Transfer Station will be open to licensed garbage haulers only from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon.
The Aquatic Center will be open, along with all city parks. Van Berg and Quail Run Golf Courses will be open, weather permitting.
The Department of Public Works, to include Street Division, Water/Wastewater and Utility Divisions, will be on call for emergencies.
The Columbus Fire and Police departments will be available for all public safety responses.
