[ARCHIVED] Storm Damage - Tree Debris

To assist the city in cleanup activities following the storm last evening, the City Transfer Station will accept tree debris taken to the "tree dump" by property owners at no charge through Saturday afternoon, July 16, 2016, until 5:00 p.m.

Contracted tree and yard waste services will be required to pay normal drop-off fees. All persons dropping off tree debris will be required to weigh at the scale. The Transfer Station is located at 250 South 14 Avenue, and the tree dump site will be open until 5:00 p.m. through next week. Patience and caution will be necessary at the dump site during drop-off.

City Staff will be removing trees in parks, public property, and blocked streets. City Staff will not pick up tree debris from private property.

An estimated 100 trees have been downed or uprooted, so the public’s patience during this cleanup effort will be appreciated.
