Road closures associated with the Downtown and Howard Boulevard asphalt placement are as follows:
Monday, August 1st: Final cleaning and surface preparation on 13th Street from 23rd to 26th Avenues and 17th Street from 23rd to 26th Avenues. 24th Avenue from 15th to 16th Streets will remain open to traffic during final cleaning. The Post Office alley drop-off will be open on Monday.
Tuesday, August 2nd: Asphalt placement on 13th Street from 24th to 26th Avenues; 17th Street from 23rd to 26th Avenues; and 24th Avenue from 15th to 16th Streets. The Post Office alley drop-off will be closed for part of Tuesday during work on 24th Avenue.
Wednesday, August 3rd: Final cleaning and surface preparation on 13th Street from 26th to 29th Avenues and 23rd Avenue from 12th to 17th Streets. The Post Office alley drop-off will be closed all day on Wednesday.
Thursday, August 4th: Asphalt placement on 13th Street from 26th to 29th Avenues and 23rd Avenue from 12th to 17th Streets. The Post Office alley drop-off will be closed until later on Thursday when work on 23rd Avenue is complete.
Final cleaning, surface preparation, and asphalt placement on Howard Boulevard will occur periodically starting Monday, August 1st and is scheduled to be complete by August 12th.
