As part of the ongoing water distribution work within the City, a portion of the water system will be temporarily shut down in order to complete needed water system improvements.

The affected areas will be:
- 11th Street from 27th Avenue to 28th Avenue
- 12th Street from 28th Avenue to 30th Avenue
- 13th Street from 29th Avenue to 30th Avenue
- 28th Avenue from 11th Street to 12th Street
- 30th Avenue from 12th Street to 13th Street
This work is anticipated to take from 8:15 AM until noon Saturday, January 21, 2016. The work will involve new piping, valves, as well as disinfection of the worked on portion before restoring the water.
The water is anticipated to be restored (turned back on) at noon on Saturday. It is expected that some discoloration of the water will be noticed as well as some air entrapment once the water is restored. This is normal. It is asked that one run the water for 5 minutes before normal use, and the discoloration and air entrapment should cease.
Further properties in and around these streets noted above, may also experience some water discoloration and air-entrapment. It is asked also that individuals following the water flushing practice at noted above in order to clear the water back to normal.
