Columbus Public Library will host a free workshop on grantseeking basics for nonprofit organizations on May 11th at 7:00 PM. Introduction to Finding Grants will be led by Karen Connell, Reference Librarian and will provide an overview of the funding research process for nonprofits seeking grants from foundations, corporations, and grantmaking public charities.
Karen Connell will offer tips on how best to identify funding sources for your nonprofit organization, highlighting the electronic and print resources available for free at Columbus Public Library. This workshop will include a demonstration of Foundation Directory Online, Foundation Center’s premiere searchable database that provides information on more than 140,000 grantmakers and over 5 million grant records.
