[ARCHIVED] Book Talk: "I Played for Scotus"

Authors John Kopetzky and Mark Kurtenbach are coming to introduce their book “I Played for Scotus” on Thursday, January 18th at 7:00 p.m. They will tell us how the idea for the book was formulated, about their research, how they compiled and edited the book, and they will highlight some of the stories in the book. Their book goes back in time to 1944 and covers athletes and coaches that built the Shamrock Legacy. You might recognize these names covered in the book: Dick Tooley, Chuck Hagel, and Al Niedbalski. “I Played for Scotus” will be available for signing and purchasing. This would be a great opportunity to buy or give as a gift; a book that many in the community would cherish. Treats will be served and there is no registration or fee to attend.
