The Columbus Public Library will once again host a summer reading program for young adults June 4-July 27. The Teen Summer Reading Program is free for anyone entering the 6th through 12th grade in the fall of 2012. The theme this year is “Own the Night.”
The library will celebrate this theme with activities inspired by dreams, stars, monsters and more. Each week in the Teen Space, patrons will find reading suggestions and a new activity they can do anytime during the week. Teen participants will also track their reading and earn chances to win big prizes. Programs will be held on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. Dates and times are subject to change. Check out the summer reading calendar at registration for official dates and times for each event. Registration begins June 4th in the Teen Space. The young adults reading program is coordinated and conducted by CPL’s Young Adult Librarian, Rachelle McPhillips.
