ONLY FOR Seniors aged 65 years and older & Individuals with Underlying Health Conditions.
The City of Columbus has developed a program with Hy-Vee to assist the most vulnerable individuals with grocery shopping.
In order to curtail the spread of the virus as much as possible, City employees who are currently not performing their normal duties due to closures of City facilities will be taking grocery orders by phone and delivering those grocery orders to homes.
At this time, Hy-Vee has a capacity to take 20 more orders per day, beginning Friday, April 3rd. The City will be attempting to implement this program with other grocery stores in Columbus.
