Some City of Columbus departments will be closed Monday, September 7, 2020, in observance of Labor Day. Those closed include the Columbus Area Transit, Columbus Public Library, the Yard Waste Site, and all departments located in City Hall.
The Columbus Community Center has not yet reopened due to Covid-19, and will not be available to take calls or provide meals on Monday, September 7th.
The Columbus Aquatic Center will be open during their currently posted hours. Visit their Facebook page or call 402-563-3222 for details about their current schedule.
Quail Run and Van Berg Golf Courses, Columbus and Roselawn Cemeteries, and all parks will be open.
The Columbus Transfer Station will be open to licensed garbage haulers only from 8 a.m. to 12 Noon on Monday, September 7th. The Yard Waste Site will be open Saturday and Sunday during their normal hours, but will be closed Monday.
The Street Department, Wastewater, Water Production and Water Utility Service will be on call for emergencies.
The Columbus Fire and Police Departments will respond to all public safety calls for service.
