On Saturday, August 7th at 2:00 p.m., Charlotte and Kevin Endorf will give a living history presentation on the amazing pioneer story of Grace Snyder and her husband, Bert.
From Grace Snyder’s book, “No Time on My Hands”, the Endorfs tell the adventurous story of the Snyders' life on a ranch in the Nebraska Sandhills. On her family homestead way back in 1885, Grace dreamed of creating award-winning quilts, marrying a cowboy, and looking down on the clouds. In her long and eventful life of 100 years, Grace did travel the world, flying over the clouds, to exhibit her award-winning quilts. She contributed to the worldwide revival of quilt making. Bring your friends and family for this historic and exciting peek into the past!
