Construction for Phase 1 on East 14th Avenue from 23rd Street through Armory Drive is scheduled to begin on August 2, 2021.
Work will consist of paving removals; construction of a temporary access road with one-lane, one-way traffic for use by local residents and patrons; storm sewer improvements; and paving improvements. Through traffic on East 14th Avenue shall follow the signed detour route. Access to and from properties west of the project will be from 23rd Street/US Highway No. 30. Access to and from properties north of the project will be from the detour route. The project is scheduled for substantial completion, including two- way traffic, in November 2021 with final completion in spring 2022. See attached map for Detour route.
Phase 2 on East 14th Avenue is from Armory Drive to the north corporate limits (north of Kozy Drive). It will begin in spring 2022, for completion in summer 2022.
